The Mamas

Lanae- Last year I went "sugar-free" for three months in a quest to lose some weight. I kicked a nasty soda habit, lost over 30lbs and felt amazing! However, I eventually slipped back into my old ways. I am committing to stay clear of refined sugar and artificial sweetners until next December.

Dee- At the request of my seven-year old son we started 2010 with no treats. Our whole family went refined sugar- free for three months (including my five-year old daughter). I was so impressed by the will-power of my small children and we ended the challenge with a celebration in Disneyland. I too quickly added sugar back in and am now re-committing to a sugar-free 2011.
